Flowers

When I was given a bouquet of flowers a few years ago, I wanted them to last longer. In a moment of inspiration, I took the flowers into my studio and began exploring angles and composition. ​

Soon I found myself coming home from the store with some pretty flowers I'd walked past. They might end up in a vase for my family to enjoy, but the first place they'd land was in my studio. I brought out my macro lens and got up close, then I found a pretty vase and arranged the flowers just so to make the shot I envisioned.

I've been lucky to see my flower photos on the walls of friend's and customer's homes, where they continue to brighten our days.
